Frequently asked questions about ordering & shipping

This naturally depends on the type of paint you want to use, the surface, and your own skills. The coverage of the paint is described per product. Whether you will achieve this coverage depends on the condition and finish of your walls. For example, if you have rough plasterwork, you will be able to cover fewer square metres. The biggest effect on consumption is the degree of absorbency of your walls. If they have never been painted before, for instance, the wall will essentially soak up the 1st, 2nd, and sometimes even 3rd coat of paint, preventing a nice result. To test whether your walls are absorbent, you can hold a wet sponge against your wall. If the water soaks into the wall, you need to use primer, and we then recommend two coats of paint. If you can wipe the water off immediately with a cloth, you have a non-absorbent surface and can likely achieve the desired result with 1 coat. Furthermore, it matters how large the colour difference is that you want to achieve; light colours over light colours often work in 1 coat, while larger differences always require 2 coats.

Your colour is mixed to order. Our production team works on weekdays. Order before noon and we aim to dispatch the same working day. Check the current shipping costs and delivery information for your address at checkout.

After placing an order, you will always receive a confirmation email. This email may end up in your spam folder. In this email, you will also find a track & trace code so you can follow your order. Naturally, force majeure may occur, causing your package to arrive a day late. We do our utmost to keep you informed.

Our colour samplees are delivered by the postal worker; this process takes an average of 1-2 business days. Sometimes the postman may face headwinds, or we may not have been able to get the swatch in the mail before 5:00 PM. Still haven't received your colour sample(es) after 4 business days? Send us an email, and we will investigate.

We send our parcels and colour brochures with PostNL. Once your order has been dispatched, you receive the available shipping information. Delivery options can vary by address and order.

We mix paint specifically in the colour you order. Paint mixed to order has different return conditions from standard items such as samples and tools. Check the return conditions for your product. Something wrong with your order? Please contact us.
Do you have a pot left over and are you looking for a good destination for it? Think of charities such as food banks, foundations, schools, or healthcare institutions. Generally, they are always happy with a donation that can add colour!
