A home that grows with you.

Ismee and her family lived in their house for a few weeks before deciding on the renovation. They discovered how the light fell and which rooms needed attention. Insulation, new drainage and a lighting plan followed, bringing warmth and atmosphere.

They brought in an interior stylist for the colour palette. "We wanted a beige house, but not that boring 'sad beige'. With the right paint and lighting, it has become warm and lively instead." The fairf samples came in very handy: "We stuck them everywhere and looked at them at different times of the day." The result? The living room got Martin, a shade that looks different in every light. On the ceilings, Blizzard, for a subtle shading. The hallway and toilet are painted in Hare, a warm tint, and the bedroom got the soft Cotton. For her daughter’s bedroom, Ismee chose Sjoerd, a real statement colour, but oh-so beautiful and warm!

What is Ismee happiest with? "The kitchen! My childhood dream was an AGA cooker; I bought that first and the entire space was designed around it." In addition, she chose many organic shapes: "Rounded corners, an arch around the TV, texture in materials – that brings so much life into the home." Thanks to the interior stylist, everything became a beautiful whole: "A good stylist brings your personality into the home, instead of their own."
