SintLucas x fairf

SintLucas x fairf

At fairf, we do things just a little bit differently! So why not give a group of 'spatial design' students the chance to really get to work with their own designs? No sooner said than done. Twenty students from SintLucas set to work on a short, but certainly not simple, assignment:
“Design a space (or a corner of one). Use fairf for this. And not just the paint, but everything that fairf stands for!”

Frank and Carla from fairf reviewed the first concepts. From a stylish spot for pets to an unexpected toilet design, the students found inspiration in everyday life. One design incorporated leftover paint into its colour scheme.
Frank adds: “At the same time, it was noticeable that truly arriving at a well-thought-out design isn’t just done in a heartbeat. Three standouts, who rose head and shoulders above the rest, immediately caught our eye!”

Royal Eclectic toilet

Loïs, Shayla and Sietske won the concept stage with ideas for the toilet, hallway and bedroom. Their plans combined colour with practical design. They then developed the concepts with the other students at our factory.

For her Royal Eclectic toilet, Loïs used striking colours and a second-hand piece of furniture with a second-hand mirror. In this attractive design, Pix (from the ‘femm.amsterdam’ colour collection) and Jairo (from the ‘colour your life’ colour collection) play the leading roles. And even the floor was painted along with it!

Colourful first impression

Shayla’s ‘Colourful first impression’ design creates a trendy and colourful hallway design, where walls as well as shelves and accessories are finished in fairf. She taps into the ‘colour blocking’ trend and makes an extra statement by choosing the leading colours Sia, Pix, and Iss, all from the ‘femm.amsterdam’ colour collection.
Sunrise

Sietske gives her bedroom concept the name ‘Sunrise,’ which speaks for itself. An important current trend is bringing the outside in, which you see a lot of in material choices right now. Literally bringing a sunrise inside goes one step further. She has translated a natural phenomenon into a colour palette featuring Pim, Samir, Mascha, and Suzanne (all from the ‘colour your life’ colour collection).

This is how we help future interior stylists experience the possibilities of colour. From the first idea to the finished paintwork, fairf gives new makers room to experiment, learn and discover their own style.
